Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the product:

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up directly or through a sign-in provider such as Google.
• Your content — documents, brand assets (logos, letterheads, signatures), and settings you create in Lekhan. This content belongs to you.
• Usage information — basic product analytics such as which features are used and approximate device/browser type, used to improve the product.
• Billing information — for paid plans, your billing name, GSTIN (optional), and transaction records. Card and UPI details are processed by our payment provider and never touch Lekhan’s servers.

• To provide the service — storing your documents, rendering exports, and delivering client portals you share.
• To operate your account — authentication, plan limits, invoices, and support.
• To improve Lekhan — aggregate, de-identified usage analysis.
• To communicate — service emails such as verification, receipts, and important product or policy changes. Marketing email is opt-in and every message has an unsubscribe link.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account and use them only to create and identify your Lekhan account. Lekhan’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.

Documents and uploaded assets are stored with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) with access rules that restrict each user’s content to their own account. Content you explicitly share — a client portal link or an export — is accessible to whoever holds that link. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

• We never sell your personal information or your documents.
• We never use your document content to train AI models or show you advertising.
• We never read your documents except when you explicitly share one with support for troubleshooting.

Lekhan uses first-party cookies and browser storage strictly for signing you in, remembering preferences such as theme, and keeping unsaved work on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your content is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual documents at any time, and you can request full account deletion from your account page or by emailing support — we delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal compliance (such as GST invoices, retained for the statutory period).

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time. If you are in India, these rights are provided in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Contact us at lekhan@rudraix.com to exercise any of them.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or an in-product notice before the change takes effect. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
